Cylinder Alnico Magnet

Cylinder Alnico Magnet is mainly composed of aluminum, nickel, cobalt, copper and iron, has good corrosion resistance, and the maximum working temperature can reach 550 degrees Celsius.

The metal of  cylinder Alnico Magnet is very ductile and can be processed into a variety of shapes and sizes.

Cylinder Alnico Magnets are widely used in instrumentation, aerospace, military, automotive industry and security systems.

Cylinder Alnico Magnet are based mainly on iron (Fe), aluminum (Al), nickel (Ni) and cobalt (Co). The magnets are fragile and not ductile. Therefore, after the raw metal is melted at high temperature and turned into an alloy, it is cast into a casting mold. These magnets are therefore also known as cast magnets.

Cylinder Alnico Magnet achieve high Br values and high temperature stability, readily cause low-temperature demagnetization and thermal demagnetization, achieve high mechanical strength, and offer other advantages. However, these magnets have low magnetic coercive force and readily undergo demagnetization due to an external magnetic field, are unsuited for thin products, and placed
under other constraints. In the design process, it is therefore important to select a method of magnetization
that allows for sufficient shape and magnetic characteristics, and a method of assembly in which consideration is given to demagnetization.

Cylinder Alnico Magnets e valued for their high magnetic strength, excellent temperature stability, and durability. Here are the typical technical parameters for high-performance cylinder Alnico magnets:

  • 1. Material Composition: – Aluminum (Al):-12% – Nickel (Ni): 15-26% – Cobalt (Co): 5-24% – Copper (Cu): 6% – Iron (Fe): Balance – Small amounts of Titanium (Ti)or Niobium (Nb)may be included to enhance specific properties.
  • 2. Magnetic Properties: – Residual Induction (Br): 6,500 – 13,500 Gauss (0.65 – 1.35 Tesla) – Coercive Force (Hc): 640 – 1,800 Oersteds (51 – 143 kA/m) – Intrinsic Coercive Force (Hci): 600 – 1,200 Oersteds (48 – 95 kA/m) – Energy Product (BHmax): 5.5 – 9.5 MGOe (43.75 – 75.6 kJ/m³)
